CLOTHING FACTORY APOLON

The building is situated in the eastern industrial zone of the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa, among properties with industrial functions, mainly a legacy of socialism. The project team’s goal is to change the faded image of the industrial zone of the town by revitalization of the district with a modern solution.
The land on which the factory is situated has a specific triangular shape, which provokes the development of L-shaped configuration of production units - an unusual architectural, functional and technological challenge, compared to the common practice for linear deployment in the production of clothing.
At the heart of the project is located an administrative block, prominent in height, with direct links to the manufacturing units. A comprehensive concept of optimal functional links between the storage, production and service areas is developed, as the main technological stream allows flexible planning.
The building is specific for its architectural form. A ventilated facade system in asymmetric inclined constructions is used for the administrative unit as the leading focus is the integrated into the facade logo in red. In the design and realization special attention has been paid to precise details in the construction of the facade systems. Facade appearance is characterized by bifid separation of materials from aluminum siding with color composition and siding with graphite panels intersected by vertical windows.
The motive dictated by the logo and asymmetrical compositions is integrated also into the accents in the interior, which gives the building an unobtrusive but stylish company identity.
Leading in the development and realization of the project is ensuring a quality environment for nearly 500 employees at the highest level in this industry in order to achieve maximum comfort and increase the productivity. Areas for recreation and dining and yard space for outdoor relaxation are provided.
